RFP Writing for Cultural Institutions

Many cultural organizations have institutional requirements to solicit competitive proposals; but most managers tasked with preparing an RFP for Design, Management or Fabrication services are not necessarily prepared (or trained) for this critical task. The process can be complex, multi-layered, and intimidating—especially with seemingly over-whelming procurement regulations.

Praxis member Kris Collins, AIA, Managing Director, Cultural and Institutional Practice Group at MGAC, delivers a webinar about RFPs. As an Owner’s Representative, Kris' team has written and received hundreds of RFP’s for cultural projects. During this webinar, Kris offers sage advice on how to achieve success from the procurement process, and share some basic Do’s and Don’ts. Q&A session follows the presentation.
